Our transition away from CRT monitors to plasma and LCD is now complete. Advances in resolution, brightness, contrast, portability and picture quality have made this technology a must-have for our clients so we’ve embraced it completely. For our backstage engineers, graphic designers and FOH operators we’ve gone to 17 and 20” LCD screens. These monitors are still in 4:3 video format, which is perfect for these computer based applications.
The 37, 42, and 50” plasma screens have become the confidence monitor of choice on all shows so we now stock them in quantity. We’ve developed short kickback stands and shrouds to go with the cobra and pipe stands. We keep an excellent inventory of brackets and mounting hardware for these screens should you want to attach them to truss, a display or piece of scenery.
We still have well over 250 gently used 25, 27 and 32” TV’s in excellent shape should you want to watch the first seven seasons of South Park again…or just throw a couple off a tall building for fun.
