Photo Description and Event Notes: AARP Life@50+...an annual national event which takes place in Boston for 2007. We can only say.....Wow. With more than 10 trucks of the best audio, lighting and video equipment to be found...Boston proved to be an amazing year for our partnership with AARP. This year featured such speakers as Maya Angelou, Brian Dennehy, Kirk Douglas, Michael Douglas, Whoopi Goldberg, LL Cool J, Bob Newhart, Robert Reich, Joan Rivers, Bill Russell and featured musical performance by Tony Bennet, Earth, Wind and Fire and Rod Stewart.
This show took an amazing staff and some pretty impressive resources to pull off. For example, there were eight HUGE screens, featuring two of our signature 64' high x 32' wide vertically blended HD screens. It took a combination of 8 Christie S+16k and Christie 25k HD projectors to make these screens shine...and shine they did! In fact, we used more than a 1/4 of a million lumens of video projection to bring nearly 8000 square feet of screen to life!!! That's a ton of projection for one room and it looked AWESOME!
Using the latest Meyer MILO line array, we were able to deliver the highest quality audio experience to more than 20,000 people.
Did you say moving lights? We had a bunch! We lost count after hanging our 80th Martin Mac 2k, but that's ok, when we ran out, we just started hanging the rest of the ore than 200 conventionals!
